Parents All Over World Learn to Put Their Children Before Their Own Wants and Needs. We Should Enjoy Every Opportunity to Give Our Parents Love and Care They Have Given to Us

Greetings to my Esteemed Master and my dear Supreme Master Television team. I would like to share my experience of serving my parents. Throughout all these years, I lived without any real understanding of how much parents sacrifice for their children, and I had no awareness of my father’s and mother’s devotion and selflessness. Even recently, I had been thinking that at the first opportunity, I should separate myself and pursue my own personal goals. Thanks to an awakening that came to me from You, the sacrifices of my parents — past and present — were brought before my eyes, and I decided to help them more and be available to them.

After some time, I finally realized that performing seemingly simple tasks for others every day, without expecting any reward or praise in return, is not easy at all. It requires immense love and selflessness. And I gained a little understanding of the level of sacrifice and devotion my parents have shown throughout all these years — those who dedicated their entire lives to their children. And once again, thanks to Your Grace, my ego became smaller, and I realized that if I had imagined myself to be a loving and selfless person, it was nothing more than a mere illusion.

This sacrifice of parents is a small reflection of the sacrifice of a true Master, Who, by granting initiation and taking on the karma of the disciples (the children), endures tremendous suffering — unnoticed by others. As You have taught us, being selfless to others, with a pure intention to help — not to gain attention or admiration — is a quality of a Bodhisattva. And our parents are a small example of this selflessness. In truth, it is Your Love that reaches us through the form of mothers and fathers. As You Yourself have said: “I will forever love you, Through all the mothers, Through all the lovers, Through all the beauties, That you so adore...”

Thank You for awakening the love for parents in me. I hope now that I have found the correct way to treat my father and mother. Thanks to You, I could serve these Heavenly beings in the best possible way, repay my debt to them, and practice selflessness.
