Sharing Abundant Wisdom the Diamond Sūtra and the Heart Sūtra Contain

In a November 2024 message from Supreme Master Ching Hai on Supreme Master TV, Master spoke about exalted womanhood and said, “[...] I became all the female Buddhas as well. Like one time, Prajñāpāramitā Devī.” Prajñāpāramitā Devī is revered as the Mother of Buddhas. In the Four-Armed Prajñāpāramitā Devī statue, in one hand, She holds a sutra box containing the Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtra, which is the treasure house of wisdom; and the other hand holds the nine-pronged vajra, which symbolizes indestructible wisdom. Today, the Diamond Sūtra, whose full title is the Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā Sūtra, is recited by almost every Buddhist. The Heart Sūtra is the very essence of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtra, which is why Prajñāpāramitā Devī is also respectfully known as the Goddess of the Heart Sūtra. The Diamond Sūtra and the Heart Sūtra have been recited for generations, because they reveal the root of human suffering and provide the wisdom to achieve liberation and attain Buddhahood. Upon hearing a single line from the Diamond Sūtra, the Sixth Patriarch Huineng attained immediate enlightenment; thus, the Diamond Sūtra became a foundational text for Zen practice.

In the past, Master, as Prajñāpāramitā Devī, guided countless Celestial Beings to liberation and Buddhahood. Today, these Celestial Beings will surely give Their full support to Master to pave a path of awakening for many more sentient beings. May all beings, when reciting the Diamond Sūtra or the Heart Sūtra, awaken their dormant memories and reestablish a connection with their true inner Self. Master once said that all enlightened Masters teach the same doctrine, to save people and lead them to liberation, and they transmit the same method. There is only one method that can liberate people — Quan Yin meditation — whether you call it the Pure Land Method, the Universal Gate Method, the Prajñāpāramitā Method, or the Diamond Method.
