In today’s news, Japan supports Sri Lanka’s landmine clearing program, mysterious fish die-off in Chile investigated, British charity project seeks to clean one million miles of land in UK annually, Australian farmer uses drone to plant sunflower crop in agricultural first, heroic bystander saves two children from burning apartment in United States, Nestlé brings popular chocolate malt beverage to Thailand, and US state of Hawaii bans shark-people fishing.

Japan donates to assist Sri Lankan demining efforts.

The Mines Advisory Group (MAG) in Sri Lanka has received a contribution of approximately US$650,000 from the government of Japan. Operating since 2002, the group has facilitated the Sri Lankan government’s landmine eradication program. Since 2009, when a conflict in the country ended, MAG has cleared over 35 million square meters of land and disposed of over 42,000 devices and 14,800 other unexploded ordnances in the country. The work to be done with the new funding is expected to directly or indirectly benefit the livelihoods of around 7,374 people in various districts. The Sri Lankan government hopes the country will achieve mine-free status over the next few years. To date, Japan has donated more than US$40.8 million to this cause. Japan is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Generosity, and Animal Protection laureate. A respectful bow, Japan, for your kind help to the soulful people of Sri Lanka. We pray that soon all Sri Lankans will be able to live safely and happily, in Buddha’s infinite blessings.

Thousands of fish die in Chile.

In February of this year, thousands of dead sardine- and anchovy-people washed up on the Chilean beach of Coliumo in the Biobío Region. Environmental officials are investigating possible reasons for the mysterious die-off, including issues of water quality. In the past, other similar tragedies have been explained by low oxygen levels, also known as hypoxia, which force fish-people to swim closer to the shoreline from deeper waters in search of food. Hypoxic dead zones are a phenomenon associated with climate change and ocean pollution caused by fertilizer and nutrient runoff. Our hearts grieve for this enormous loss of marine life in Chile. We pray that humans will soon turn to veganism to stop global warming and to create a planet that thrives, in God’s everlasting Beneficence and Protection. Vegan: a true demonstration of neighborly love.

Up next, British charity project seeks to clean one million miles of land in UK annually. Let’s now thank the solar site assessors who perform on-site analyses and make recommendations regarding how much solar energy can be harnessed at a residential or commercial location. We’ll be right back, with more befitting news on Supreme Master Television.

Good day, gentle viewers, I’m Gary, a vegan amigo from the Galapagos Sea Lion kingdom. Just feel the compassion in your heart, and everything flows from there. Embracing the peaceful vegan path brings so much harmony into our existence that it’s not even easy to express it. Today, we have a simple yet tasty snack idea from our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Hey, wonder kids. To sweeten your day here is another delicious, no-work snack for your enjoyment. Open a box of fresh silken tofu, add some fresh, finely chopped ginger on top, drizzle your favorite syrup in there – et voilà, yum yum!! God Loves you kids.” We love You too, Supreme Master Ching Hai. That sounds delicious, and so easy! Thank you for tuning in, and lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Now, the worldwide weather.

British non-profit looks to green UK through mass clean-ups.

Surfers Against Sewage from the United Kingdom launched the Million Mile Clean in 2021, which encouraged 100,000 volunteers from across the nation to each commit to cleaning 10 miles (or 16 kilometers) of land during the year. In 2021, the project saw over 142,000 people take part, clearing almost 400,000 kilograms of plastic and packaging pollution across over 1.1 million miles (almost two million kilometers) of the UK. This year, the organizers hope to build on their success and continue their mission of cleaning beaches, streets, rivers and mountains in the country. Way to go, Surfers Against Sewage, and all who are taking part in your noble project to protect the environment from waste. In the love of Heaven, may your caring actions help to save countless animal-people from the dangers of plastic pollution while beautifying natural landscapes.

Australian farmer plants sunflower seeds with drone.

Southern Queensland farmer Roger Woods recently planted a crop of sunflowers using a drone, possibly becoming the first person in the world to do so. Mr. Woods, also the founder of Drone Commander Australia, used a device that distributed 45,000 seeds over each hectare, with the goal of 30,000 plants germinating per hectare. The unmanned aerial vehicle was also used to fertilize the crop and maintain its health. Drones have also been utilized to spread alfalfa, wheat and barley crops, and they have the benefit of not disturbing the soil, microbes, insects and small animals that live within a field. Congratulations, Roger Woods, on your successful planting of sunflowers. In the caring guidance of the Providence, may we cherish the land that provides our food, and the countless beneficial microbes and beings that contribute to healthy soil.

Good Samaritan rescues two children from apartment fire.

A heroic citizen of Mesa, Arizona, United States, didn’t hesitate to act to save two girls, a two- and six-year-old, who were trapped inside a burning apartment. The rescuer saw the fire from nearby, ran to the unit, climbed on top of a storage shed and pulled himself up to the window. The determined hero then grabbed the two children and handed them over to the police. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, said that he just wanted to help save the kids. Fortunately, firefighters were able to control the blaze. The children and four officers were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation treatment. Caring citizen and all involved, we are so touched by your quick actions that saved the girls’ lives. We pray the young ones and the officers make a speedy recovery. May many be inspired by your noble and courageous acts of kindness, in Celestial protection. Go ahead n make war: so that more n more people will curse u, ur family, n ur clan.

Coming up, Nestlé brings popular chocolate malt beverage to Thailand. We’re going to step outside for a moment to play some frisbee with our dog-person companion. Be back soon! Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more smoothing news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Favorable News for a Magnificent World.

Nestlé’s chocolate malt beverage goes vegan in Thailand.

Switzerland-headquartered major food and drink company Nestlé is launching a vegan, plant-based version of its popular chocolate malt beverage, Milo, in Thailand. The new Milo Soy features around five grams of protein and is calcium-rich. In the Asia region, 40%-plus of consumers are transitioning to more plant-based diets according to a recent survey by GlobalData. To meet the growing demand, Nestlé is also launching vegan versions of Nescafé lattes in Malaysia and Japan. Its Singapore research and development center meanwhile serves as an important innovator of dairy-free alternatives. Bravo, Nestlé! Your vegan beverages are delighting palates while sparing animal-people and our planet, in the grace of the Divine.

Hawaii becomes first US state to outlaw shark-people fishing.

The state of Hawaii has enacted legislation that prohibits the intentional capturing, entangling, or killing of shark-people in state waters with effect from the beginning of this year. The protection extends to all shark species, approximately 40 of which are at home in the oceans surrounding the Hawaiian islands. The law is harmonious with Hawaiian culture, in which shark-people can be considered ‘aumakua (family guardians who help guide and protect). Eating shark-people is considered an act of filial disrespect that incurs punishment. Nonadherence to the law will be accompanied by penalties of up to US$10,000. Our appreciation, Hawaii, for passing this important law protecting our shark co-inhabitants. May humans extend love and respect to all our fellow-beings for a heavenly atmosphere on our planet, in God’s nurturing Love.

We just received an invitation to participate in a laughter session with the joke of the day. We’d better not miss it. It’s called “Afraid of the Dark.”

A son tells his dad of his biggest fear…

“Dad, I’m scared of the dark.”

“You know Son, when I was little like you, I was afraid of the dark too. But when I grew up and had to pay the electricity bill for the first time, I became afraid of the lights!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Ngọc Huệ in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Beloved Master and Supreme Master Television team, Thanks to Master’s Love and care, I had significant improvements in my life and thoughts, as well as in controlling the effects from my previous life’s karma. On July 6, 2020, Master mentioned in “Between Master & Disciples” that anyone who reincarnated as a human was truly repentant and wanted to redeem his or her mistakes. But every time a soul is reincarnated, it forgets its purpose, because it is covered by so many worldly things. When listening to this, I felt like I wanted to cry. On July 7, 2020, I again watched Between Master & Disciples, where Master told us about the spider-person that ate meat and thus degraded into a spider-person in this lifetime. And because he came to tell Master something, and then listened to Master’s advice, now he has become vegan and does not hunt for the animal-people. Master promised the spider-people that if they listen to Her and be vegan, then She will save them. That is so wonderful, because each being truly has hope, and Master creates opportunities for them to escape their helpless plight. I would like to thank Master and wish that You are healthier every day and have a long life so that Your ideals will soon be fulfilled and numerous beings will be benefited. Ngọc Huệ from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Profound Ngọc Huệ, Our thanks for your thoughtful words that bring us to reflect on Master’s unconditional Love and tireless patience for all beings. We are humbled by Master’s infinite Blessings and our immense good fortune to be guided by Her in this life. Our prayer is that we may prove to be worthy. May Heavens’ Light bring you, our spider-people friends, and the aspiring Aulacese (Vietnamese) people much Love and contentment. In Universal joy, Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master replies to you and reminds us of what is most important: “Good-hearted Ngọc Huệ, thank you for illuminating the plight not only of the spider-people but also all humanity. It is so vital to sincerely repent for any wrongdoings, check our actions each day, and, most essentially, not harm other beings in order to move beyond the suffering in this world and towards the Divine peace so many seek. May Buddha uplift you and radiant Âu Lạc (Vietnam).”

“Keep away from the man who eats meat − his company will ruin your meditation.” ~ Satguru Kabir Sahib Ji (vegetarian)
