You are “strangers” to me, because you have not been my disciples at all, all of you. That’s why it took so long, [that’s] why it took so long. Otherwise, if you’re near me, you should be faster. You have been practicing with anybody else last life. Everybody but me. No relation, nothing at all. I don’t know how you trusted me this lifetime, because I’m a total “stranger.” Last life, you followed anybody, anybody, anybody. I always say, “I’m here! Me, me! I’m here!” Nobody cares. That’s life. This time’s a little difficult, but you made it, some of you. Congratulations again. (Thanks, Master.)

But you have become, what we call, the “Third saint.” In most competitions, we have three prizes, right? The first, the second, and the third. And you came third, not bad! Mostly they have only three prizes. And you come as third, it’s already wonderful.
I’ve just watched a film with the residents before, something called “Children of Heaven.” Coincidentally, you know that guy, the little kid? He just wants to win the third prize, because for the third prize, they’ll give him sneakers, so he can give the sneakers to his sister, who doesn’t have shoes to go to school. You can watch it. You can lend it to them tonight, and they can watch it here. You have the big TV here, you can watch it here. Bring the two big TV sets here. (OK.) Is it too late to bring them now? Too late. Forget it. Do it next time. (OK.) Let me think about it again. (OK.) Maybe he can bring them here.
Anyway, so, he doesn’t want to win the first prize. He just wants to win the third prize. That kid doesn’t want to be first, and would rather be the third. Maybe you’re the same. Just want to have the shoes. Nothing else. The guy is a kid, he doesn’t think too much, very simple and innocent. He just wants a pair of shoes for his sister, so he runs fast and he won. He came first all the time, but he waited for the other two guys to come to the top. Anyway, I don’t want to spoil the story. That’s... So I’m not saying the rest of it, OK? I just said he won, but you don’t even know anything else. So there are many surprises coming. So anyway, maybe you guys are the same. But I hope you’re going fast. It is not bad to win the first prize.
The things he doesn’t know is if he wins the first prize, he can have many other things coming. Maybe an advertising company comes and makes a big contract with him. He might be a movie star, or he might be enlisted to the Olympic Games later on, be more famous. And the more famous, the more money he has. He can buy tons and tons of sneakers for his sister. But kids, they don’t know anything. So, I hope you’re not that kid. I hope you’re grown up and win “the first prize” for me. (Yes.) Even the first prize, there are little higher, superior prizes. But anyway, the first prize is good enough already. Superior prize, slowly, slowly, from there – from the first (prize), you go up. There is much to learn, much, much... Beautiful things awaiting you.
But of course, you don’t know. As long as you’re in this physical world, you’re not allowed to know too much, except like almost before you die or something. So, when your (inner) vision begins to clear up a little, you know time is almost up. No, no, no, I’m just kidding. Or it depends. Depends. Maybe you have a little (inner) vision. But when you have a lot of (inner) visions and all that, oh well, pack your luggage. Whatever luggage you have.
The other day, the number (of beings that Master lifted up) was getting blurred because I wanted to talk to you immediately, but then there was the technical problem and all that, and the number kept changing. Everybody wanted to move in. So they “hurry, hurry, hurry,” and the number increased. That’s why he has a little confusion. But you change it, OK? You retype it and change it, and then tell the Center to post it, for the disciples to see in the Center. Not in the magazine. In the magazine, everybody can see it too quickly. Tapes are different. A tape, you can inquire and buy it. If everybody asks something about a concerned subject, then you can give it to them or sell it to them. It depends if they have money or not. But the magazine, it’s free, everybody can see it.
Anyway, there’s something I didn’t tell you. Up to the 26 of February ’03 (year 2003), I don’t have time to check more from then until now. The 26 of February. What day is today? The second? (The third of March.) The third of March. (Yes.) Good time. Up to the 26 of February, two thousand zero three (year 2003), there are 2,224 beings, that had gone up to the Third Level. (Wow!) Today I make sure. I wrote it out. Not that they squeeze in in the last minute. I’m just talking up to the 26th of February, Third (Level) only. Everybody else is in the second batch. Otherwise, they’re squeezing in. They say, “Me too, me too! I’m here, I’m here!”
The 26th of February only, 2,224 beings. From our group… These are elevated to the Third Level. In case you think that everybody’s a saint, they’re walking all over, over there, it’s not that cheap. It’s not easy to find saints. There are saints, but “saint,” you know, maybe, something... So, it’s not that easy. It’s not easy. Everybody who professes themselves to be saints or whatever like that... All’re on the Astral Level. However much magic they have, or they don’t even eat anything, they don’t drink anything, do not bother about that. These are astral magic. You can do it now if you want to, but don’t regress into that level. That’s all I’m saying. We can also do that at the same time, but there is no need. No need. The karma of give and take, we still have to do. By the way, do not eat too much or something, more than you should, because... We will talk about that later. That’s another subject.
And, from 2,224 Third-Level saints, we have from our group, our group – Supreme Master Ching Hai Association – 1,800 beings. (Wow.) We’re always the first! That’s including dog(-people) and bird(-people). Not all my bird(-people) and not all my dog(-people). This time we have... in the 2,224, we have included 13 dog(-people) and 11 bird(-people). (Wow.) No other animal(-people), sorry. And out of that 13 dog(-people), I have three. In our group, we have three dog(-people) that have elevated to the Third Level. And six of our group bird(-people), my bird(-people), have elevated also. Three dog(-people), six bird(-people). (Oh!) Our group.
The dog(-people) are not many in our group, but the bird(-people) still stand more than half. (Yes.) Well, dog(-people), I have only five dog(-people). I should have more, then we take all the... we take all the prizes home. I feel very bad now. But my attendant complains and complains, not complaining to me, complaining inside, “Oh, too many dog(-people) already! Overtired. Too much trouble. Oh...” Now you see, you lost. Only three dog(-people) are in!
The first batch ever in the whole world, and we have only three dog(-people) in it. Yeah, serves you right. Now you’ll regret all your life. Just a little work and complain. So, I just let you know a little bit. That’s it. That’s the first batch ever, ever since I “came into office.” Or before that even, since I’ve been alive. Since I was “born.” This is since I was “born.” Including all the so-called “my Master,” whatever. You can count it all down in here. That’s it. Understand now? (Yes.)
Anyway, now you have become saints, some of you. Be more careful. You’re free of karma. That means you never have to be reborn again. Also since you are my disciples, you don’t have to be reborn and practice the Quan Yin Method again. Only if you want to, you can. If you go up there, if you’re on the Third Level and you die, and then you go up there and you practice too slowly, you prefer to go down, meet me again, or my successor or other Masters, and then to go up quicker in the human life. Here you can taste bitter and sweet, and you can do service to mankind and all that, speed up your progress. Then you can come down, no problem. But you don’t have to.
But you should go up a little further. Third Level is not much. It’s OK, it’s OK. You can stay there. But the Three Worlds sometimes can be destroyed and recreated again. Everything below the Third Level is too much of material aspects, so it’s easily broken, it’s fragile. It’s not durable. Everything from the Fourth Level up is better. From the Fourth to the Fifth is better. There are many levels on the Fifth even. Not everybody who goes to the Fifth, are the “Fifth.” Yeah, they’re the Fifth, but like lower Fifth, medium Fifth, and higher Fifth.
The One who attains a hundred precent is in the middle of it. And They are “Perfect Masters,” we call Them. But not all of Them are Masters. There will be only One Chosen from the Third Level and trained up, up, up, up. So, in every lifetime, there’s only one Master – the Chosen One. There are higher Masters Who come down and train the Chosen One. One cannot just become Master by himself. And then One is Chosen, then He attains the Fifth Level, and then He can teach. Meanwhile, any disciple that attains a higher level from the Higher Master can rely on the Master of that High Power because that Power will bring him up, not you.
But nevertheless, if you are under the Third Level, mostly you feel proud sometimes, you get flattered, and you get ego. And now you eat too much of the offerings, or you feel too confident, too arrogant, then the negative power takes all your merit. And then you go down, worse than you were. For example, if you are already on top of the Second Level, but you go out, initiate (people), and you think you are doing it because people praise you or love you or do something, bow to you, give you offerings, and then you enjoy too much luxury of the offering of the people, then you’re lost!
You’re lost not only in that, you cannot come up, you come down from 5 to 10 degrees, even up to 20 degrees down. You become 50 degrees or 40 degrees. That is Astral Level. Or you get angry with people, you think that you are on top, and they are lower. You don’t look; you don’t respect them. Even the lower people, if you don’t respect them, you’ll be in trouble. And now I’m telling you, even at your Third Level, if you don’t respect people, and you enjoy too much, you’ll also have trouble.
