Here is a neat way to drain pasta water without a colander. Just use the pot lid or a toothpick. To do it using a toothpick, place a toothpick between the pot and the lid and then pour the pasta water out while pressing the lid tightly as you tilt the pot. This allows the pasta to stay in the pot. Alternatively, you can slant the lid of the pot inwards by approximately half a centimeter (1/4 inch) and hold it down using insulated oven mitts. Be sure to take safety precautions while you pour and hold the pot away from you to avoid steam burns. It is always recommended to pour hot water into a heat proof container and let it cool before pouring down the sink.

“A man just broke the world record for tiny writing. He squeezed 1,314 characters onto a single grain of rice. And when he finished, he went back to his old job of writing legal contracts.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Julian in the United States
