In today’s news, Indonesia sends hospital ship to four South Pacific nations. United Nations holds conference in Mongolia to address global desertification, German research finds that organic crop farming boosts biodiversity and profits, engineers in Spain develop new zinc-air battery design that increases power by up to 80%, Kenyan start-up creates robotic hand that translates teachers’ voices into sign language, Canadian food company brings back vegan meat product line nationwide, and major US equine-people hospital joins Belgian-based veterinary network. Here’s a handy storage organizer tip for you. Make the most of unused space in your kitchen cabinets or wardrobes by swapping out hard-to-reach deep shelf space for pull-out wire baskets. To begin, mark the positions for the basket runners on both sides of the cabinet and pre-drill the required screw holes. If your cabinet has hinges, ensure the position you choose for the runners allows the basket to slide in and out freely without hitting or being blocked by the hinges. Next, align each runner with the pre-drilled holes, then secure the runners firmly to the cabinet sides using the supplied screws. Lastly, place the wire basket onto the metal supports. Slide the basket in and out a few times to make sure it moves smoothly and that everything is properly aligned. Voilà, now you have more space in your home!
