The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation was started by the Venerable Dharma Master Cheng Yen in 1966. Tzu Chi Foundation’s mission started with charitable relief work and gradually expanded into medicine, education, encouraging adherence to moral values, and environmental protection.
