I’m ready to look after myself in times of need. Are you prepared too? Today’s tip may help. Transforming your lawn into an edible garden is an ecofriendly way to grow your own food while supporting pollinators and wildlife. To convert a lawn into a raised vegetable garden, mow the grass as short as possible, then cover the area with cardboard to suppress weeds before adding the beds and soil. When these are ready, choose a variety of vegetables suitable to your season. Edible ground covers like strawberries or herbs can replace patches of grass, creating a low-maintenance, food-producing layer. Planting edible trees and shrubs adds long-term value to your garden. Choose native varieties that thrive in your region and provide fruits or nuts benefiting you and your local ecosystems. An edible garden not only delivers fresh, pesticide-free, homegrown food, but also reduces your reliance on store-bought produce, cutting transportation emissions and enhancing mental wellness.
Now, it’s time to join the guffaw fan club as the joke of the day is ready to come on stage. It’s entitled “Stellar Worker.”
Preston asked Trevor about his new job.
“How’s your new job at the factory?”
“I’m not going back there ever again!”
“Why not? For many reasons: the sloppiness, the shoddy workmanship, the awful language - they just couldn’t put up with it.”
?!
And now we have a heartline from Daniel in Canada:
Hi, all wonderful people, A month or so ago, I was helping a PhD student at the University of British Columbia in Canada gain access to his office, I work as security there, and he commented on the face mask I was wearing, which is the sky blue “Vegan = the peaceful warrior” mask that Master designed. It turned out this award-winning PhD student was doing his research paper on veganism, having become vegan himself through personal investigation and wanted to shed more light on men’s behavior in this regard, especially the idea of masculinity and diet. His name is Rob Velzeboer. He is not only a scientist but also a boxer and boxing coach. He recently published his paper, which I have read, and wanted to share with everyone, especially those who can use it to better understand how to make vegan policies and marketing strategies to address the male temperament. I also realized from reading the paper how our Heart, the Ultimate Master has been using such strategies to open men’s minds so they can accept the truth of veganism. Rob Velzeboer’s paper can be found in the National Library of Medicine website, which is an official website of the United States Government and is called “Masculinity, meat and veganism: A scoping review.” Warmest regards, Daniel from Canada
Astute Daniel, Our appreciation for sharing your inspiring chance encounter with Rob Velzeboer (vegan). May his well-researched paper influence many men to rethink their concept of masculinity and what it means to be a true gentleman. We hope the enlightened male ideal becomes the norm in our world sooner rather than later and that veganism is seen as the proper diet of real men. Documentaries like “Game Changers” clearly show physical strength is better developed in vegan male and female athletes, not to mention spiritual strength. When men go against their true nature, they lose almost everything God gave them within. May all men quickly return to their inherent nobility by becoming vegan and realize who they really are as children of God.
