In today’s news, Japan promises funds for transportation development in Kyrgyzstan. Here is a tip for how to clean a burnt induction cooktop. For burnt-on marks or white mineral deposits, gentle cleaning is key to avoid scratching the glass surface. Let the cooktop cool completely before cleaning. For burnt residue, mix baking soda with a little water to make a thick paste and apply it to the affected area. Lightly dab or spray with white vinegar and leave it for 10–15 minutes. Gently rub in small circular motions with a soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, carefully use an induction-safe scraper or plastic spatula, keeping it at a slight angle. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. For white marks caused by hard-water deposits, use a soft cloth dampened with equal parts white vinegar and water. Avoid using steel wool, abrasive pads, stiff brushes and harsh or ammonia-based cleaners, as these can scratch or damage the cooktop.

Here’s our joke of the day to compliment your cheerful mood, entitled “The Musical Repair.”

Jessie proudly told his friend Miles that he had fixed his dripping faucet himself.

“Does it work perfectly now?”

“The dripping has stopped, but now the faucet whistles whenever I turn it on.”

“Sounds like it’s singing your praises.”
