(Two days ago, a friend was with me and was very interested in You. And he’s a very skeptical man, but he spent about 12 years in Nepal, in Kathmandu. And he said he was adopted by some kind of lama or so, and initiated too, but he is very…) You let her translate, or you translate later? OK. (Yes. But he’s very skeptical. And then he looked at Your picture and said, “I thought She was an old woman of about 70, but this woman is beautiful. And She’s so modern, it’s unbelievable. Now, couldn’t I go to Taiwan [Formosa], too, just to see Her? She interests me. That is a very interesting woman.” And I thought, well, nobody else does this. And You once said how You reeducated the monks that came to You. I like this very much because they were so serious, and You made them laugh and giggle and so on. And well, that’s what fascinates me. And I would like to know if You decided to be such a Master to “catch” more people and to give the world a chance again.)

Thank you for your compliments. Please translate first. You can translate, it’s better you talk for yourself. Of course! (And I think I wanted to know, are You doing this on purpose?) I believe, yes. Because I am so intelligent. No, no, because you said it that way. I have tried many ways – the ascetic way and the kind of poverty-looking way… But [it] always worked with me. I had followers before I changed my outfit too. But then, that was only a limited number, like those of the Chinese, those of the Aulacese (Vietnamese), those mother or grandmother, very conservative and serious people. Especially, those from the East. Of course, they know about Buddhism more than you do. Then they love monks and the bald head and bare feet and things like that, and dirty looking. They’re used to all kinds. And I was successful, too. No problem. Please, translate. About the monks. Precepts, a vow for poverty.

But then after I had the inner intuition, and inner order from God that I must widen my teaching and bring it to different corners of the world, then I began to think. Then I thought that I must change my appearance to suit all types of people, to bring trust and friendship at the immediate first meeting to these people. That’s why I changed the appearance. Because if you look different, immediately, people keep a distance. And that is psychological. All the psychologist doctors, they know this. And all the business people, all the successful entrepreneurs, or the people who do business, and politicians and sociologists, all these people, they know this. So, it is logical for me to be like you. If I cannot make the world more beautiful… This is logical to be like people so that you’ll be accepted and trusted immediately. And if they don’t accept you and trust you, how can you bring the message, however good? That’s what I think. No matter how good the message is. No matter how good.

Do the Aulacese (Vietnamese) people not understand? Is there anyone translating for them to listen, or is it the translation machine? You understand a little bit, right? (Yes, we ask this young person.) OK. Very good! You can take your time and watch it later. (Yes.) It’s important for the foreigners. We, Aulacese (Vietnamese), already understand each other. It’s not that necessary.

OK. And one more reason is that God is… For me, God is everything beautiful – truth, goodness and beauty. That represents God. And if I come here as God’s Messenger and I make Hiers image look poor, stupid, dirty, no money, begging, like a beggar, then how can I represent Hirm? That’s what I think. My opinion might not be the opinion of everybody, but that’s what my opinion is. That’s how I changed my outlook. So, even if I cannot make the world more beautiful, I have no right to make the world look ugly. No right. No one has the right to make this creation from God ugly. We should always make it more beautiful. That’s our duty. We beautify it by our inner radiance, of course, too, but we beautify it by our outer decent look. We don’t have to always do too much, of course, but if you look decent, and you look bright, and that’s good. I think that is the duty of all of us. Appropriate. (Yes.) (Decent.) (Decent. Yes.) (Decent.) Decent. Yes. Look decent.

But I tried many ways, you see? I tried the ascetic way, so I know that it doesn’t work. I tried. Not that I talk from my own imagination, I tried. And sometimes, of course, the ascetic way also has a good function. I will tell you. It’s good for me, at least. And no boyfriend will come around and make trouble, at least. No makeup, and hair and all this – makes trouble. At least, it’s good for me. And also in Asia, when I wear the monk’s robe, and I go around, everybody prostrates on the floor. And it’s good for my ego. My ego likes it very much. And wherever I go, people will offer me maybe money, house and everything for my convenience. I will maybe ride the bus for no money and airplane ticket is free. And things like that. It’s good for me, good for everything. For me, personally, at least.

The reason why I became a renunciate was because I thought the Buddha, the Buddha had become a monk, and because of becoming a monk, he could help the world. But it’s not just becoming a monk, it is being enlightened. But I knew that only later. So, after I was a little more enlightened, then I began to find out. As you become enlightened more and more each day, you discover more of your own enlightened nature every day. And then I realized that if I truly want to help people, then I must be one of them. I cannot be different. I cannot receive their reverence. I cannot receive their help. I cannot receive anything. I can only be one of them. If I can’t help them, at least I’ll be one of them. Not different. (Thank You.) Goodbye. See you again.
