I would like to present the entire situation as follows. I pledge that what I wrote is all true. Please, MASTER, save me. Around June 2022, a group of six people dressed in grey robes with shaved heads – five of whom showed respect to one person whom they addressed as swan Trần saint – introduced themselves as fellow initiates and got acquainted with me from then on. (It was possible that they had been following me on Facebook for a long time, as I frequently traveled and had connections with many initiates.)

One to two months after the first meeting, they sent me photos of a [fake] factory which produces [fake] Celestial Jewelry. There was a woman with a shaved head in that group (whose face I remember very clearly). That group revealed to me that their factory is the main one which is supplying two operating groups in Kaohsiung and Taipei. They have conducted transactions with me over the past two years through Line and WhatsApp, (using many different numbers). I was very proud of this work and became lost in the darkness, believing that I was working for Master. Regarding the jewelry transactions, someone named Thiên came to collect cash. They mentioned that in Taiwan (Formosa), Aulacese (Vietnamese) brides who are married to Taiwanese (Formosan) men would pay them in cash. […]

From July 2022 until now, I have introduced and processed orders from countries including the USA, Australia, Âu Lạc (Vietnam), and France. During the time I placed jewelry orders and distributed them according to the price list these people provided, I used their price list for all transactions. […] (They manipulated me so that I could not realize that my judgment was clouded, and so I believed that they worked directly with Master.) “Excerpt from a heartline from Ngọc Hạnh in Âu Lạc (Vietnam): Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai, I am eternally grateful to You for accepting me as Your disciple. I followed Trần Tâm for eight years and would like to share some information to caution those who are following or supporting him. I used to go to Trần Tâm’s meditation center to offer my help and noticed that outwardly, he appeared very dignified, like a good teacher. However, one day, I heard a close disciple of Trần Tâm recount that he had sexually assaulted his disciples. At first, I was skeptical because I revered him like a Living Buddha. I was heartbroken and cried for a week because this was too shocking. I prayed to the Higher Powers for the truth. Then I met the manager of Trần Tâm’s meditation center in Laos and a former close monk of his, both of whom confirmed this information as accurate. This former monk was also a victim himself. Trần Tâm sexually assaulted both male and female disciples, but mainly males. He even once sexually assaulted a teenage boy in the U.S. and deceived the boy’s mother into believing that the boy had bad karma and needed to stay at his meditation center. The boy’s mother sued him, but somehow the matter was hushed up. I know of over 50 victims who were sexually assaulted by him. Another disciple named *** publicly accused him on Facebook on December 4, 2019 (the post, as of the time I write this heartline on September 30, 2024, is still there), and several other disciples like ***, including one who used to be a host and helped film for Trần Tâm, along with two former monks who followed Trần Tâm, also made accusations but later removed their posts. Criminals of this nature often use the excuse of whether there is forensic evidence to accuse them, and they use money along with threats and bribes to resolve matters. It is truly sinful to use the honest money of others to sustain criminal activities, dragging them into the same whirlpool of guilt. I believe that when the authorities discover the truth, Trần Tâm will face justice. However, this may implicate those who are helping him run this criminal operation. “Testimony by a former follower of Ruma Trần Tâm, Aug. 1, 2024: I used to be a follower of Trần Tâm. I was directly involved in internal affairs such as living expenses, food, and shopping. Therefore, I know all about his personality and lifestyle. I gradually realized that many of his actions were improper, such as taking money from the meditators, some of whom even had to sell their houses to make offerings out of fear of his curses. There were male meditators who left and reported him because he sexually harassed them during their participation in the group. Many people were abused in this way. He even wrote letters threatening and cursing that their whole family would get sick or die if they did not come back. His right-hand men, who called themselves his dharma protectors and monks, freely collected money from meditators for him and even put it in their own pockets. During the retreats, food was sold at exorbitant prices, even 20 times higher than the actual cost, because he claimed it had blessing power. For example, he sold a sapodilla (fruit) that he grew himself for US$100, a pancake for 500,000 VND (Vietnamese Dong ~ US$20), a plate of rice for 1 million VND (US$40), and many other similarly overpriced items.”

“Testimony by a former victim of Ruma Trần Tâm: Respected Master and dear Supreme Master Television team, It has been 32 years since I received the initiation from Master. Today, I would like to testify to Master’s words about the demon Trần Tâm. I have kept this story secret for many decades because he said, ‘The reputation of the messenger is in your hands.’ In 1996, when he returned to Âu Lạc (Vietnam) posing as a Quan Yin messenger, I participated in Master’s teaching group. At that time, I was just 20 years old. In the middle of the night, he called me into his private room and same-sex sexually assaulted me. […]”

The following information is provided from Trần Tâm’s victims about how Trần Tâm makes money:

- Soliciting charitable donations: Trần Tâm calls for donations from his followers in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), claiming they are for charitable purposes.

- Selling Trần Tâm’s statues: Statues of Trần Tâm are made in Âu Lạc (Vietnam) at a cost of around a hundred thousand VND (~4 USD) but are sold by him for tens of millions to over a hundred million VND (~3,939 USD).

- Earnings from vegetarian restaurants: Several restaurants serve as income sources for Trần Tâm. The profits are sent to him, also these venues occasionally host “initiation ceremonies” for a small group of people.

- Fees for ordination: Anyone wishing to ordain must pay a fee. They are required to attend seven retreats with him within a year to qualify. Upon registering for ordination, they must pay 7 million VND (~276 USD).

- When Trần Tâm personally cooks food and sells it, prices increase dramatically – from tens of thousands or 100,000 VND to several million VND per dish.

Additionally, one abuse victim shared that Trần Tâm lives a very extravagant lifestyle. For example:

- Trần Tâm provides Lexus cars for his ordained followers, while he himself drives a Hummer.

- His clothing is all designer, and he buys expensive watches without even checking the price.

- He owns a collection of luxury watches, stored in a dedicated wardrobe.

“Excerpt from a heartline from Mu-Yun in Taiwan (Formosa): Most Beloved Dharma-Wheel Turning King- Supreme Master Ching Hai, I have followed Master twice in the Spirit World to rescue false masters who had fallen into the Venomous Insects Hell; the process had been thrilling and full of dangers. Before the rescue, I didn’t know about the existence of false masters. After learning about the matter from a mission in the Spirit World, I returned and asked an Aulacese (Vietnamese) sister initiate in Taiwan (Formosa) if there were any false masters. She told me that there is a false master, Ruma, who imitates Supreme Master Ching Hai’s title, SUMA.

I searched for his videos on YouTube, and as soon as I opened one, a very dark, filthy, and terrifying atmosphere immediately overpowered me. After that, I never dared to search for videos related to him again.
