Being a monk, above all, you should have compassion. You even humiliate my physical being, just for your fun, just so that people think that I’m this and that and others. Why do you have to do that? […] Then why would you even talk bad about me, gossip untruthfulness about me, slandering me so that people would think I’m bad or my disciples would have less trust in me or leave me? That’s worse than the sin of gossiping and telling lies about me. […] Read the sutras again and avoid doing similar kinds of things to anybody, not just to me. […] Don’t create any more hell, the forever hell for you, the relentless hell that’s mentioned in the Buddhist sutras. The Buddha mentioned it many times. You must remember it. Don’t just wear the robe and don’t know anything about Buddhist sutras. It will lead you to hell, not to Buddha’s Land. I promise you that. […]
Being animal-people, even insects, that’s such a troublesome life. And we thought we humans have very complicated and troublesome lives already. So it’s better we don’t regress. Practice your Quan Yin Method as taught to you at the time of initiation. Be a good human, at least. Keep the Five Precepts. That’s how you can be a good human all the time. And even if you have to come back as a human again, you can be a human. […] The best is to free yourself from all that, from all that. Free, free from everything – from fortune, misfortune, from fame, from bad and good, everything – free, free yourself from all that. Don’t treasure anything in this world as long as you still live here. Then you will be free forever. And you can even help others to be free, like what I am doing right now. […]
Up to now, especially in recent years, I’m not allowed to have anything that gives me pleasure, gives me happiness. Even like having the dog-people with me, or having the bird-people with me, or having any of the good team members with me, stuff like that. Or even tasting good food, rarely. […] But I’m glad to live here, in this place at the moment, because this is a very blessed forest, a very blessed location where I put up my tent – a very highly spiritual treasure. […]
