Close to his heart was his evolving awareness and stance for a compassionate way of living that excluded harming animals. Becoming a vegan and working on education and activism, Mr. Aspey decided that for the whole 365 days of 2014, while not uttering a single world, he would travel around Australia in a camper van in order to raise awareness for animals and promote peace over violence. It turned out to be a very effective campaign.
